ŌKAMI COLLECTION: RIP TOOLS — AUDIO: VERSION (STEAM)
ADXTRACT (0.2), DEGOD (0.6), FFMPEG BASED ADX CONVERTER
adXtract (0.2) is used to unpack the game's .AFS2 files.
degod (0.6) is used to decrypt the game's .ADX files.
FFmpeg based ADX converter is used to convert the game's .ADX files.
- Navigate to your Ōkami files—these are typically located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Okami\data_pc.
- Use the search function to search for .AFS2 files—mine currently has 240 items. Select them all, copy them, and put them somewhere you won't lose them.
- Next, unzip the adXtract (0.2) program in the same folder you placed the .AFS2 files. When that's finished, select all of the .AFS2 files and drag and drop them onto the adXtract (0.2) application. It should extract the .ADX files for you. My program spits out 1291 .ADX files, but there's also three more that you can search for in Ōkami's data_pc folder. I place those in with the other extracted .ADX files.
- Make sure that the .ADX files are in the same location as degod (0.6). Open Command Prompt as an administrator. Change your directory to where degod (0.6) is located, and then run this command: for %i in (*.adx) do ( degod -k 0 %i )
- Some of the files "don't seem to be encrypted", but just ignore this. Most of them should be decrypted with the program.
- When you've successfully decrypted the .ADX files, open the FFmpeg based ADX converter program and follow the usage tutorial here.
- If everything was done correctly, congrats! You can now listen to Ōkami's Steam audio.
